Therese founded McShane Professional Search, LLC, realizing that there was a strong need for an executive recruiter who could effectively identify the right administrative individuals to support high level executives in the Metropolitan Detroit area. Therese also believed that she could provide a more personalized quality of service to administrative professionals who desired to advance their careers. This specially designed service remains unmatched by any other recruiting firm.

Therese received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from the Wayne State University School of Business.

Therese Boldt began her Human Resources career in 1983 at Chevrolet Detroit Gear & Axle (now known as American Axle & Manufacturing). During her tenure, she held positions within Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Workers Compensation, and Salaried Administration as well as acting as a Production Supervisor. This hands-on HR experience gave Therese a solid understanding of the dynamics within a corporate setting that guide hiring decisions.

Then in 1987, Therese Boldt embarked on a career in the recruiting industry when she joined the staff of a local temporary employment service specializing in the healthcare field. Her clients soon came to trust her ability to swiftly respond to their needs by supplying high quality temporary employees. While the temporary industry offered rewards, Therese felt a strong need to impact her candidates' careers by working for a firm that placed people on a permanent basis.

In 1989, Therese Boldt began her career as a member of the permanent staffing industry, working for the world's largest recruiting firm. Her determination would consistently place her within the Top Ten Account Executives in the country for the next 11 years. Again, her ability to quickly assess the clients needs and respond by identifying quality candidates built her an extremely positive and strong reputation in the industry.
